Royals are consistently in the public eye, either grabbing headlines for their charity work and official royal visits, or for their sense of style.
Even with the limelight and status they enjoy, Princes William and Harry value tradition and simplicity, if we were only to judge by the watches they wear on their wrists.
Here are their choice timepieces:
Prince William’s Watches
Prince William is most often seen wearing his everyday watch: the Omega Seamaster 300m Midsize Co-Axial Watch. The watch is rumored to be a present from his mother Diana, so it’s no surprise that he wears it every day. It was also the watch that he wore for his wedding to Kate Middleton in 2011. This particular model has a stainless steel case, and brushed, polished stainless steel bracelet which makes it wearable for a number of occasions.

Another watch that Prince William reportedly has is a Cartier Tank Francaise. He is very rarely seen wearing it, perhaps because of its sentimental value. The late Princess Diana loved Cartier timepieces and wore a Tank Francaise herself, and so she gifted the Prince with an engraved piece for one of his birthdays. He has also passed on his penchant for Cartier watches to his wife, Kate, whom he gifted with the Ballon Bleu de Cartier watch for their third wedding anniversary.
Prince Harry’s Watches

Prince Harry is more open to the watches he wears compared to Prince William. He has been spotted wearing two different watches, both of which are very appropriate for the fields he is in. The first one is a Rolex Explorer II ref. 1655 model. Prince William has served several terms in Afghanistan, and was even promoted to Captain, and this adventurer’s watch is a good fit for the extreme conditions of his assignment.
Prince Harry’s other watch is a Breitling Aerospace, which was especially made for pilots. The Prince is actually trained to fly Apache attack helicopters, so he most likely makes good use of the watch’s features. The Aerospace has a durable yet lightweight titanium case, and large, contrasting hands. This is coupled with a backlit digital display which makes the watch easy to read in any lighting.
