You get to choose from a wide range of models and price points.
Buying brand new limits you to current models, whereas the pre-owned market can give you a vast array of models, including previous versions of watches, limited editions, discontinued styles. This is especially true for luxury watch staples or designs that are considered classic. Rolex watches, for example, only evolve and experience changes that are so minute over decades. You can buy them in “never worn” or excellent condition.
If you still prefer your watch as new as possible, there’s a solution for that – there are watches in the pre-owned market that have never been worn or just worn slightly and still look like new. They’re more common than you think! It could be that the previous owner got it from an authorized dealer and decided shortly after that it wasn’t for them, or that it was just kept in a deposit box. If you prefer these, ask for them specifically from your chosen watch retailer. Many of SwissWatchExpo’s clients ask for unworn watches, and we provide the watch if it’s in stock, or add it to our Request List. |
