Leonardo DiCaprio’s Watches

It’s quite common for celebrities to amass a huge collection of watches, but Leonardo DiCaprio likes to keep his collection very select. Loyal to just a few watch brands and models, the actor, filmmaker, and environmentalist proves that once he likes something, he sticks with it.

Let’s check out Leo DiCaprio’s watches, on and off-screen:

The only Rolex watch that Leo is known to wear is the Rolex Cosmograph Daytona. He has been spotted with the stainless steel, black dial ref 116520. In 2016, he also auctioned off a very rare 18k white gold Rolex with diamond set indexes and “Best, Leo” engraved at the back.

Leo was signed as one of Tag Heuer’s global ambassadors in 2009 and the partnership is going strong. One of the series he wears often is the Aquaracer. The diving watch is water resistant up to 500 m, and features a unique double security clasp to keep it place. In the black comedy The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Leo wore a Tag Heuer Professional 1000 Series, which has been discontinued since 1992. It is often mistaken for a vintage Rolex GMT-Master, with a jubilee bracelet. Video from Paramount Pictures on YouTube

In the science fiction action film Inception (2010), Leo wore a Tag Heuer Carrera. Before Tag Heuer, Leo hosted a few charity auctions with Jaeger LeCoultre. They were for the benefit of his favorite cause – the preservation of the environment.
