Gordon Ramsay Watch Collection

Gordon Ramsay Watch Collection

MasterChef Gordon Ramsay is known for his fiery temper and high standards. It seems that his exacting demands in the kitchen also apply to his choice of watches!

Despite having a small watch collection (that is, compared to other celebrities), his timepieces are impressive – and are some of the best ever created.

Let’s check out Gordon Ramsay’s favorite watches, vintage and new:

Rolex Submariner Vintage Mark IV Dial Steel Mens Watch 1680

Rolex Submariner ref 1680

The Rolex Submariner ref 1680 was produced for ten years, beginning in 1967. The vintage watch is best known for being the reference with six different “Mark” versions – three with “meter first” text on the dial and another three with “feet first” text.

Gordon wears his ref 1680 with a leather strap, which emphasizes the vintage and rugged look of the Submariner. Photo from Gordon Ramsay on Instagram

Breitling Aeromarine Chrono Avenger M1 Yellow Dial Titanium Watch E73360

One of Gordon’s standout pieces is the Breitling Chrono Avenger M1. The stunning yellow dial, paired with three black sub-dials, really makes the watch dial pop. The titanium construction gives the watch a robust but light body, that’s perfect for action packed days in the kitchen. Photo from Gordon Ramsay on Instagram

Rolex Explorer II Transitional Stainless Steel Mens Watch 16550

Rolex Explorer II ref 16550 Transitional Dial

Gordon obviously loves vintage Rolex watches, and from the Explorer line, he wears a Rolex Explorer II reference 16550 with a creamy dial patina. This transitional model was a venue for Rolex’s experimentation, so due to a paint defect, some of the white dial versions turn cream or ivory over time. In true vintage Rolex fashion, these are actually sought after by collectors and command a premium price. Photo from Gordon Ramsay on Twitter

Rolex Submariner 40mm Non-Date 2 Liner Steel Mens Watch 14060

Rolex Submariner ref 14060

This model is considered the last of the “classic” Rolex Submariners – that is, it has no date on the dial, is equipped with an aluminium bezel insert, and a pre-Super case and Maxi dial.

Contemporary Rolex Submariners have impressive features, but for those seeking a bridge between old and new, this is the perfect Submariner to get. Photo from Gordon Ramsay on Instagram

Rolex Submariner Smurf White Gold Blue Dial Bezel Watch 116619

Rolex Submariner 18K White Gold Blue Dial

One of the models launched on the centennial year of Rolex, the Rolex Submariner ref 116619 was the first Submariner to be crafted in solid, 18k white gold. They matched the luxe construction with a standout lacquered blue dial and bezel.

Don’t be fooled though – the “Smurf” as it’s called, has all the makings of a Rolex Submariner, including water resistance of up to 1,000 feet. Photo from Gordon Ramsay on Twitter

Rolex GMT Master Vintage Gilt Chapter Ring Watch 1675

Yet another beautiful vintage watch in Gordon’s collection, is a black bezel vintage Rolex GMT-Master ref 1675. This timepiece dates back to the early 1970s, and is made more desirable with some patina on the dial, and fading on the bezel. Photo from Gordon Ramsay on Instagram
