The Rolex Air-King was one of the simplest watches of Rolex, a time-only watch with just baton and Arabic numerals. In 2016, the popular entry-level Rolex was given an update. The new Rolex Air-King ref 116900 measures 40mm, putting it in the same league as Rolex’s most popular sport watches – the Submariner, GMT-Master, and the Daytona. It has a stylish, slightly oversized look on women. Michael’s latest acquisition from the Daytona family is the 18k white gold, Oysterflex model with a sunburst gray dial. The Oysterflex is Rolex’s patented bracelet technology, which combines high-density elastomer and a titanium-nickel alloy blade. The result is a rubber strap that’s more resistant to temperature changes, waters, and other elements.
