Mark Wahlberg Rolex Collection

Rolex Submariner on mark wahlberg

If there is anyone who could define the word “multi-hyphenate”, it would be Mark Wahlberg. He first entered show business as rapper Marky Mark in the 1990s and today, he’s an A-list actor, producer, reality TV star and a savvy entrepreneur with ventures in anything from burgers to cars.

Mark is also known as one of Hollywood’s biggest watch aficionados, with a vast collection of timepieces from Rolex and Patek Philippe. We’re putting the spotlight on his Rolex watch collection, which has quite a number of heavy hitters: from rare gem-set pieces to the latest Rolex releases. Check out Mark Wahlberg’s Rolex watch collection.

Rolex Submariner Kermit Green

Rolex Submariner

Mark wears the Cerachrom ceramic bezel versions of Rolex’s classic dive watch. Rolex Submariners with ceramic bezels also sport “Super Cases”, characterized by bigger lugs and crown guards, wider bezels and a broader wrist presence. His most eye-catching Submariner is the solid 18k yellow gold ref 116618, which comes with a blue dial and bezel.

Mark is also up-to-date when it comes to Rolex’s new releases, so he was one of the first to sport the new 41mm Rolex Submariners. He sports the updated 41mm version of the Kermit with a green bezel and black dial (126610LV) and the 41mm Submariner in 18k white gold, which comes with a black dial and blue bezel.

Rolex Daytona Blue Dial

Rolex Cosmograph Daytona

Despite his tough guy persona, Mark is not one to shy away from color and gems when it comes to his watches. The Rolex Daytona is a robust tool watch created for the world of motorsports, but Rolex has successfully reinterpreted them into ultra-lavish versions.

One of Mark’s latest acquisitions is a solid 18k white gold version (ref 116509) with an iridescent blue starburst dial with red highlights on the subdials and the ‘Daytona’ text.

Rolex 'Rainbow' Daytona in both 18k white gold and 18k Everose gold versions (116595RBOW)

Mark also has three show-stopping Daytonas set with gems. First is a platinum (ref 116576TBR) Daytona with a diamond pave dial and 36 baguette diamonds on the bezel. The hands are blued white gold, while the chronograph subdials are finished in the distinctive glacier blue color found only on platinum Rolex watches.

He’s also got the highly coveted ‘Rainbow’ Daytona in both 18k white gold and 18k Everose gold versions (116595RBOW). This model is called such because of the 36 baguette-cut sapphires on its bezel, which form a Rainbow gradation.

Rolex GMT Master Green Dial

Rolex GMT-Master II

When it comes to the GMT-Master II, Mark has chosen two milestone models. First is the 50th anniversary Rolex GMT-Master II, which comes in solid 18k yellow gold and furnished with a dial in Rolex’s signature green hue (116718LN).

He was also one of the first celebrities to sport the Rolex GMT-Master II in solid Everose gold. Released in 2018, this model (126715CH) marked the first time that a Rolex GMT-Master II was manufactured in Rolex’s patented rose gold; and also the first time that the ceramic bezel was fashioned in a two-tone black and brown scheme.

Rolex GMT Master Everose

Mark also owns an iced-out Rolex GMT-Master II in 18k white gold. The custom piece comes with a pave diamond dial and lugs, and baguette cut diamonds and sapphires on the bezel.

Rolex Yacht-Master and Yacht-Master II

With his eye for style, the Rolex Yacht-Master and Yacht-Master II definitely belong in his collection. The Yacht-Master was launched in 1992 as a luxurious take on their first nautical watch, the Rolex Submariner.

In 2007, the Yacht-Master II was released, equipped with a 10-minute regatta countdown timer to meet the complex needs of professional sailors. With its 44mm case and bold design, it’s a watch that’s hard to miss.

Rolex Day Date Platinum

Rolex President Day-Date

As a prolific Rolex collector, one piece that won’t be missing from his watch box is the President Day-Date, Rolex’s flagship model. The Day-Date comes exclusively in precious metals, and Mark owns one in each finish.

Among the standouts in his collection are the Platinum Day-Date 40 with glacier blue dials. Mark likes models with added interest on them, such as one with a diagonal motif dial, and another with the special Eastern Arabic script on its hour markers.

Of course, he has his share of gem-set Rolex Day-Date pieces. He wears the 60th anniversary Day-Date 40 in Everose gold, with an olive green dial and diamond bezel.

One of his most unusual and rare pieces is a Day-Date in Platinum, perfect for St. Patrick’s! It comes with baguette emeralds on the bezel and on the 6 and 9 o’clock positions and a pave diamond dial. The date and day of the week also come in green to complement the color scheme.
