Comedian, actor, and producer, Kevin Hart is known in watch circles as one of the most prolific watch collectors in Hollywood. He might be known for his self-deprecating humor but when it comes to his career – and watch collecting hobby – he means serious business.
Kevin favors Rolex, Patek Philippe, Audemars Piguet, and Richard Mille watches and continues to add a piece to his collection for every career milestone. We’re putting the spotlight on his Rolex collection. Much like the funnyman, his Rolex watches are nothing short of bold and spectacular.
Rolex Daytona Everose Ceramic
Kevin is, in his words, a “Daytona-head” with a vast collection of Rolex Cosmograph Daytona watches. He has stainless steel Daytonas, both vintage and ceramic on rotation, but he’s also made space for precious metal versions.
Kevin has the Everose gold ceramic bezel version of the Daytona. This 2011 model was the first Daytona to be equipped with the Cerachrom bezel; and also the first to have a single piece of ceramic holding the crystal in place to ensure waterproofness.
Rolex Daytona Platinum 50th Anniversary
Kevin also has the 50th anniversary Daytona, introduced in 2013. To mark this milestone, Rolex introduced the very first Daytona to be made in the noblest of all metals – platinum. Of course, it also came with a glacier blue dial, which Rolex reserves for its platinum watches. A rich chestnut brown tachymeter bezel beautifully completes the look. Rolex ‘Rainbow’ Daytona Everose Gold
Kevin also has the very vibrant ‘Rainbow’ Daytona that all the A-list Hollywood stars have been spotted with. The Rainbow edition Daytona features a multi-colored baguette-cut sapphire bezel and hour markers whose gems form a glittering rainbow. Brilliant cut diamonds are strategically placed around the lugs and crown guard creating a unique appeal. Photos from Sotheby’s and Phillips and Video from The Ellen Show on YouTube
Rolex GMT-Master II 50th Anniversary Green Dial
Kevin also has quite a fondness for solid yellow gold Rolex watches, which are very apt for his go-big-or-go-home persona.
He has the 50th anniversary Rolex GMT-Master II, whose dark green dial echoes the brand’s signature green logo. This special edition model was also the very first Rolex to feature the Cerachrom ceramic bezel – a fitting tribute to the GMT-Master’s half-century milestone. Photo from Kevin Hart on Instagram

Rolex Day-Date II Baguette Dial
Kevin’s choice Rolex Day-Date is the Day-Date II, launched in 2008 to meet the market’s demand for larger cases. Measuring 41mm, the Day-Date II has thicker and wider proportions than the traditional Day-Date, giving an unmistakable visual statement on the wrist. Kevin’s watch features baguette diamond hour markers and rubies at 6 and 9 o’clock. Photos from Christie’s and Kevin Hart on Instagram

Rolex Daytona Yellow Gold
He also wears an all-gold variation of the Rolex Daytona dubbed the modern “Paul Newman”. This model recalls the signature tri-tone dial of Newman’s personal Rolex Daytona 6239 but in the size, substance, and style of the modern Cosmograph.
Rolex Daytona ref. 6263
While Kevin is more into modern timepieces, he made space for a remarkable vintage Rolex – and of course, it had to be a Daytona. This reference 6263 in yellow gold was the only precious metal version in its era that boasted of a COSC certification. It was produced in the 1970s, but its classic design is still in tune with today’s tastes. Photos from Phillips and Kevin Hart on Instagram

Rolex Sky-Dweller White Gold
Kevin also has white gold Rolex models in his watch box. Even with their monochromatic color schemes, his choice timepieces stand out.
He wears the 18k white gold Rolex Sky-Dweller, featuring a black dial and white gold Arabic numerals. Launched in 2012, the Sky-Dweller is a step away from other Rolex watches with its highly complicated features. It has a date, an annual calendar, and dual-time functionalities which are perfect for globetrotters like Kevin. Video from Netflix is a Joke on YouTube
Rolex Day-Date II White Gold
The Rolex Day-Date II was discontinued in 2015 to make way for the Day-Date 40, whose proportions are more refined and in line with the traditional Day-Date. We can see why Kevin likes the Day-Date II – the bulkier case exudes a somewhat sportier feel. He wears a white gold Day-Date II with a grey dial and Arabic numerals. Rolex Cellini Moonphase
Kevin may be partial to his Rolex sports watches but he’s also quite fond of Rolex’s tuxedo watch: the Cellini. His choice model is the Cellini Moonphase — the first Rolex to feature a moonphase complication since the 1950s. It brought back an old-school complication but in the elegant yet contemporary look of today’s Rolex Cellini. Photo from Kevin Hart on Instagram

Rolex GMT-Master Sapphire
Kevin was also seen wearing the GMT-Master Sapphire. As its name suggests, this watch diamond and black sapphire-set bezel and is made from solid white gold. Photos from Sotheby’s and Kevin Hart on Instagram

Rolex Daytona Zenith
Another iconic piece in Kevin’s watch box is the Rolex Daytona Zenith. This watch debuted in 1988 and was the first Daytona to house an automatic movement. Rolex used a heavily-modified Zenith El Primero movement to power the ref. 16520. Photo from Kevin Hart on Instagram
