Adam Levine Watch Collection

Rolex Explorer II ref 1655

Adam Levine is best known as the lead singer of Maroon 5 and as a coach on NBC’s talent show, The Voice. The Grammy-winning artist and People Sexiest Man Alive, has also starred in several films and series.

Apart from the many roles he plays, Adam is also a prolific watch collector with a penchant for vintage Rolex watches. More recently, he has added modern references to the mix, with a focus on colorful and show-stopping pieces.

Let’s check out the watch collection of Adam Levine.

Rolex Submariner Kermit Green Bezel Steel Mens Watch 16610LV

Rolex Submariner Kermit

A true-blue Rolex collector won’t be without a Rolex Submariner. The iconic design set the standard for many of the dive watches that we see today.

Adam wears the first ever Rolex Submariner to sport a green bezel – the famed Rolex Kermit. Introduced in 2003, it commemorated the 50th anniversary of The Sub with its unorthodox color and Maxi Dial with larger hands and markers.

The Kermit colorway has been discontinued since 2010 and was replaced with a Ceramic bezel version by 2020. The original version with an aluminum bezel continues to be sought after by collectors.

Adam also wears a vintage Rolex Submariner with quite a history. The reference 6538 was worn by Sean Connery in Dr. No and was the first ever Rolex to be worn by the James Bond character. The watch is recognized for having a large crown without guards and a luminous pearl at 12 o’clock.

Rolex GMT-Master II Yellow Gold

We’ve also spotted Adam with a vintage Rolex GMT-Master II in solid yellow gold. The Maroon 5 frontman wears a reference 1675. With a contrasting black dial and complementing gold surrounds on the markers, it represents a distinct class of traveler’s watches.

Rolex Explorer II ‘Freccione’

From the Rolex Explorer collection, Adam wears the famed ‘Freccione’ reference 1655.

Introduced in 1971, this model was the first ever Rolex Explorer II reference and is best known for its orange 24-hour arrow hand. Together with the 24-hour bezel, it helps the wearer tell daytime from nighttime hours.

Rolex Daytona Yellow Gold Green Dial Mens Watch 116508

Rolex Daytona Green Dial

The biggest star of Adam’s watch box is the Rolex Daytona. His Daytona collection spans grail-worthy vintage models and ultra high-end modern references.

Among the modern Daytonas spotted on his wrist is the green dial, yellow gold Daytona 116508. It comes with a pine green dial unlike those seen on green Rolex watches, with touches of red on the sub dials and Daytona text.

Rolex Daytona 50th Anniversary

We’ve also spotted Adam with the 50th Anniversary Rolex Daytona. The eagerly anticipated homage comes in a platinum finish and a colorway never before seen in Rolex watches. The bezel is made of Cerachrom in chestnut brown and the dial comes in a sunburst glacier color, reserved by Rolex for platinum watches. Photo from Rolex

Rolex Rainbow Daytona Everose

Another celebrity favorite in Adam’s collection is the Rainbow Daytona. This luxurious take on the racing chronograph replaces the tachymeter bezel with 36 baguette sapphires. Adam wears the Everose gold version of this timepiece, which comes with matching baguette sapphire hour markers and diamonds on the crown guards and lugs. Photo from Rolex

Rolex Daytona 6240

Adam is also a huge fan of Paul Newman Daytona watches; and we’ve spotted at least four in his collection. We spied a panda dial, a reverse Panda dial, and two yellow gold editions of the famous grail watch.

A standout among these is the reference 6240 which is without the usual red markings and Daytona text on the dial. This watch dates back to the 1960s and comes with a black and off-white dial and screw-down pushers.

He also wears a reference 6264 Paul Newman Daytona in yellow gold. This version is a true rarity with only 10 known examples. The combination of gold and black has been affectionately nicknamed “John Player Special” by Rolex fans, in reference to the livery of the black Lotus F1 car painted with the gold JPS logo. Photo from Sotheby’s

Rolex Day-Date Stella Blue Dial

Rolex Day-Date Stella Dials

Adam’s love of colorful watches is evident by now, and even his Rolex Day-Date models are proof of this. All his President watches come with Stella Dials – the bright, hard enamel dials introduced in the 1970s.

These enamel faces come in a riot of colors one wouldn’t expect to see on a Rolex. Adam owns two yellow gold Stella models – one with a neon green dial and another with a pastel pink dial. Adam also has the more elusive white gold Stella model with a bright turquoise dial and diamond hour markers. Photo from Christie’s

Patek Philippe Nautilus 3800

Patek Philippe Nautilus 3800

While Adam is a obviously a Rolex fan, he made space for a very special Patek Philippe Nautilus in his watch box.

He wears a yellow gold reference 3800 from the 1980s. This model is classically sized at 37.5 milllimeters, and bears the dark blue ridged dial that the Nautilus is famous for. Photo from Antiquorum
