Jason Momoa Watch Collection

Jason Momoa has played dozens of roles since his acting career began in the late 1990s. The Hawaii-born actor got his big break in the Baywatch series and became a household name with his role as Khal Drogo in the hit HBO drama, Game of Thrones.

Today, Jason’s career is unstoppable with his recurring stint as Aquaman in the DC Extended Universe, and headline-making red carpet appearances.

Even with his adventurous style and towering build, Jason prefers sleek and timeless Cartier timepieces – proving that not all heroes wear big watches. Here’s what Jason Momoa wears on his wrist:

Cartier Santos

The Cartier Santos is one of the most recognized watches from the brand, well-loved for its squarish profile and elegant appeal. In 2018, the French maison revamped the timepiece to suit modern standards.

Jason prefers the two-tone edition, which has neat lines, a curved steel case, and a thick bracelet. These are complemented by a yellow gold bezel and a brushed silver dial with elongated Roman numerals, and blue hands. The signature exposed screws remained, as did the octagonal spinel crown. The result is a trendier and more ergonomic timepiece.

Cartier Ballon Bleu

Another watch that is constantly on Jason’s wrist these days is the Cartier Ballon Bleu. Known for its perfectly round case and blue cabochon resting on the side, this watch is one of the most popular models from the brand. What makes it desirable is its androgynous appeal, with case sizes ranging from 33 to 42 mm.

The model he wears is the rose gold version, paired with a matching smooth bezel and a black leather strap. The silver dial features stunning guilloche patterns, bold Roman numerals, sword-shaped hands, and a circular date window at 3 o’clock, while the self-winding movement makes the watch highly functional.

Jason has worn the Ballon Bleu to the red carpet with a tank top – proving the versatility of the watch.

Cartier Tank Louis

For TV  appearances and fashion shows, Jason likes to wear the classic Cartier Tank Louis XL. Introduced in 1922, this watch takes inspiration from the French tanks used during the First World War and has become the standard for modern-day Tanks.

Jason particularly adores the rose gold model, with a slightly longer case and a sapphire crown. Boasting a grainy finish, the silver dial comes with a minute track and a secret signature at 7 o’clock. The rounded brancards give the watch an Art-Deco look.

While this timepiece is eye-catching due to its atypical rectangular shape, the thin profile and the brown leather strap make it ideal for wearing under the cuff.
