The Daytona ref 116508 isn’t an anniversary model, but it has earned the same cult status among connoisseurs. Released in 2016 alongside the steel and ceramic Daytona ref 116500, it features a yellow gold finish and a “racing green” dial, which earned it the nickname “Gold Hulk.”

The recent years have shown Rolex’s ability to experiment with their offerings. In 2020, we got the Oyster Perpetual’s bright “Stella” dials, and a year after, the brand gave the spotlight to the Datejust by releasing a refreshing Palm motif dial.
