Rolex Submariner Kermit Green Bezel Steel Mens Watch 16610LV

Rolex Submariner

Will wears two different generations of the world’s most iconic diver’s watch. First is the 50th anniversary Submariner, better known as the “Kermit”. This timepiece was introduced 50 years after the Sub debuted in the 1950s. In true Rolex fashion, it includes the brand’s signature green hue to mark the momentous occasion.

The Kermit, as its name suggests, boasts a vibrant green aluminum bezel insert and a “Maxi” dial, which is characterized by larger hour markers and hands. This makes it the only Rolex watch to feature both such interesting characteristics and the first Submariner to display the time on a modern “Maxi” dial.

Will also owns a stainless steel Submariner in the classic black colorway, this time in a modern six digit reference (116610LN). Introduced in 2008, it retained the 40mm case size of older Submariner models but featured a beefier Super Case with thicker lugs and larger crown guards – along with a Cerachrom ceramic bezel and a “Maxi” dial. Video from Australian Open TV on YouTube

Zenith Chronomaster El Primero 38mm Steel Mens Watch 03.3200.3600

Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Original

Will clearly has a taste for iconic, game-changing timepieces. He was recently spotted with a Zenith El Primero Chronomaster Original – a direct descendant of the classic A386 watch, which is probably the most famous watch in the entire history of the Swiss brand.

The A386 is the most iconic model in the trilogy of watches introduced by Zenith in 1969. It came with the newly developed and innovative Caliber El Primero, regarded as the epitome of reliability and one of the earliest automatic chronograph movements ever made.

It was revived in mid-2021 with the Chronomaster Original. This watch shares many similarities to the A386 including a 38mm bezel-less case, a sharp profile, pump-style chronograph pushers, faceted lugs, a combination of brushed and polished finishes, tri-color sub-dials in blue and varying shades of gray, and an El Primero movement at its core. Photo from GQ Magazine on Twitter

Rolex Milgauss Black Dial Green Crystal Steel Mens Watch 116400

Rolex Milgauss GV

Will also made space for the playful, yet seriously capable Rolex Milgauss. Its most distinguishing feature is the green sapphire crystal, which is a scratch-proof and fade-proof watch crystal developed by Rolex.

Available exclusively on the Milgauss, it has a faint green tinge that runs throughout the crystal and turns virtually luminous at the beveled edges – the product of a secret procedure that took years of development and takes weeks to make.

The Milgauss is made of stainless steel and has a high-contrast black dial with an intriguing orange seconds hand styled like a lightning bolt to recall the original model, making the watch easy to read and recognize at a glance. White and yellow accents add a playful touch. Photo from NBA on TNT on Twitter
