As Omega\u2019s most popular model, the Speedmaster<\/a> is a vital part of the brand’s identity. It\u2019s also been an important part of space exploration history and has been worn by everyone from astronauts to athletes and celebrities.<\/p>\n

Omega Speedmaster Moonphase watches have been around since 1985, but they were later on updated in 2016, with a range of eye-catching colors and most notably, Master Chronometer status.<\/p>\n

The Omega Speedmaster Moonphase Master Chronometer is a 44.25mm case with a thickness of 17mm. It\u2019s a little large to easily tuck under your cuff.<\/p>\n

The larger size not only fits the going trends in timepieces, but also allows the movement to accommodate a larger power reserve of up to 60 hours.<\/p>\n

This sizing, along with the colorful designs, makes quite the statement.<\/p>\n

Metal and Color Options<\/strong><\/span><\/h2>\n

The earliest models of this range came in stainless steel, with the ceramic bezel and\u00a0Liquidmetal™ tachymeter scales being two of\u00a0their most pleasing features. With matching dial and bezel colors in blue or black, combined with highly contrasting luminous markers, the stainless steel Speedmaster Moonphase watch is a stunning piece. These models feature a subdued leather strap in black or dark blue, or a stainless steel bracelet.<\/p>\n

Over the years, Omega continued to add new materials to the collection, beginning with an all-blue Ceramic material as part of their “Dark Side of the Moon” collection. Dubbed “Blue Side of the Moon”, the entire case, crowns, and pushers are made of blue ceramic, while the choice between 18k white gold and 18k Sedna™ gold indices add a luxurious touch.<\/p>\n
