Produced from roughly 2012 to 2020, the 114060 was the first ceramic, no-date Submariner. It existed in a transitional period for Rolex, and for a time, it was seen by some as an awkward middle child\u2014stuck between the svelte vintage models and the newly refined 41mm generation.<\/p>\n

When the 114060 was released, some purists criticized its “Maxi” or “Super” Case, which featured thicker lugs and a blockier appearance compared to its predecessor, the 14060M. It was still a 40mm watch, but it wore larger and had a much stronger, more muscular wrist presence.<\/p>\n

A decade later, this design has aged beautifully. It’s unapologetically modern and masculine. Where the newer 124060 slimmed its lugs for a more traditional look, the 114060 stands out with its unique, powerful silhouette.
