The Watches on HBO’s Entourage

HBO’s comedy-drama Entourage was one of the most popular shows of the 2000s. It follows the life of Vincent Chase, a Hollywood up-and-comer whose agent, brother, and friends help him navigate the life of a film star.

When you’ve got five guys living it up in Hollywood, luxury watches will sure be part of the equation. We went on a weekend binge and spotted a cool range of Rolex and Audemars Piguet watches on the cast of Entourage. Check them out:

Royal Oak Rose Gold

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak on Ari Gold

Jeremy Piven plays the high-flying Hollywood agent, Ari Gold. The tenacious negotiator is in power suits all the time with nothing less than Audemars Piguet Royal Oak watches to match.

In the final season, we see Ari wearing a rose gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Chronograph. This is just one of the many AP’s he wore on the show, but it has a sentimental story to it. The show’s creator, Doug Ellin, gave the watch to Jeremy when the show wrapped up, as a token of appreciation for his pivotal role in the series.

Royal Oak Rose Gold

In the movie continuation of the series, we spotted another rose gold Royal Oak on Ari. This one is a time-only model with a black Grande Tapisserie dial and a matching black leather strap. Around 2012, Audemars Piguet introduced a larger 41mm case for the Royal Oak, with a sportier look and more modern proportions.

We also spotted two stainless steel Royal Oak Chronograph watches on Ari: one with an all-black Grande Tapisserie dial and another with a “Panda” dial featuring black registers and red accents. With an 11mm height, the Royal Oak Chronograph is especially thin for its kind, making it suitable for wearing under the cuff.

Daytona Black Dial

Rolex Daytona on Eric Murphy

Kevin Connolly plays Eric Murphy, Vincent Chase’s best friend and manager. His career also takes off as Vincent makes it in Hollywood, and we begin to see him sporting some excellent timepieces.

We’ve spotted Eric with the stainless steel Rolex Daytona ref 116520. The black dial version has a ruggedly handsome look that fits in from casual to formal settings – a must for a busy A-list manager like him.

Daytona Everose

In the Entourage finale, we see Eric wearing an Everose gold Rolex Daytona with a black dial and rose gold registers. The Daytona was the first watch to be made in Rolex’s patented rose gold alloy. It gave a contemporary twist to the classic Daytona chronograph and made it a Hollywood favorite.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak on Eric Murphy

Numerous AP Royal Oak watches were worn in the series; and Eric had to have one as well. We spied a rose gold Royal Oak chronograph with a silvered dial and leather strap on Eric in later seasons of the show.

Royal Oak Offshore

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Diver on Johnny Chase

Vincent’s brother, Johnny “Drama” Chase, played by Kevin Dillon, was also in for the ride. The deadpan and funny C-list actor may not have been as famous as his brother, but he brought lots of laughs to the show.

We spotted him with an AP Royal Oak Offshore Diver. This offers a sportier take on the Royal Oak with its thicker case, rubber strap, rubber-coated crown and pusher, and water resistance of up to 300 meters.

Audemars Piguet Royal Oak on Salvatore Assante

Jerry Ferrara plays Salvatore “Turtle” Assante, Vincent Chase’s best friend. While he’s not directly involved in acting, being part of Vincent’s entourage means he also lived the high-life. He’s seen wearing a rose gold Audemars Piguet Royal Oak in the Entourage movie.
