Tom Holland Wears TAG Heuer

At just 27 years old, Tom Holland has proven himself to be an ace watch collector. With an enviable stable of watches – from iconic Rolex and classic Cartier, to much coveted Patek Philippe – the Spider-Man star has shown a refined taste in timepieces. Joining his stellar collection are two of TAG Heuer‘s latest releases, with surprisingly affordable price tags.

TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph “Glassbox”

Tom Holland attended the most recent F1 Grand Prix in Monaco with one of TAG Heuer’s newest offerings – the Carrera Chronograph “Glassbox.” This watch was designed to mark the Carrera’s 60th anniversary and was dubbed “Glassbox” due to its domed and curved sapphire crystal on top of the face, which recalls similar bubble-like hesalite crystal designs from the 1970s.

Measuring 39mm in diameter, the watch comes in stainless steel and displays the tachymeter bezel in a slightly different manner. While it was typically laid flat on the edges of the dial, the glassbox design echoes the sloping edges of the crystal, giving the watch a decidedly modern flair.

Other standout features of the Carrera Chronograph “Glassbox” include a black-and-silver reverse panda dial with vintage-inspired typography, three-register layout, faux-patina lume, and a date window at noon, and the high-performing Caliber TH20-00, which boasts 80 hours of power reserve. TAG Heuer Monaco Titanium

We’ve also seen the English actor with the TAG Heuer Monaco Titan Special Edition, released to commemorate the resumption of the F1 Monaco Grand Prix in 2021 after a year’s break due to the pandemic. Only 500 of these watches were constructed, and they are made of lightweight, hypoallergenic grade 2 titanium that has been sandblasted to provide a matte finish.

The Monaco Titan Special Edition keeps the classic Monaco’s boxy 39mm case, red chronograph hand, crown on the left, rectangular push buttons on the right, sharp lines, and horizontal indices but with a silver-and-black sunburst dial for a sleeker and dressier look. The gray leather strap completes the sporty elegant design.

Under the hood runs the modernized version of the famed Caliber 11 chronograph that made its debut inside the first Monaco. This movement beats at 28,800 vibrations per hour and offers a 40-hour power reserve. Photo from Oracle Red Bull Racing on Twitter
