The Rock’s TAG Heuer Watches

TAG Heuer Carrera Gold

We saw Dwayne rocking some serious wrist candy while at The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The watch is a TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph from 2022, crafted in 18k 3N yellow gold.

Merging retro charm with modern touches, the timepiece recalls the iconic Heuer 1158 CHN and the racing livery of the John Player Special Formula 1. Its dial has a reverse panda design with a black backdrop, gilded totalizers, and gold-plated markers, while a discreet running seconds indicator at 6 completes the look. TAG Heuer Carrera Green

The wrestler-turned-actor is known for having a killer taste in timepieces with a clutch of heavy hitters from Rolex, IWC, Panerai, and more. Thus, it was a delight to find him sporting a somewhat subdued TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph on the red carpet.

Released in 2020, the Rock’s choice model retains the Carrera’s quintessential traits but in a contemporary light. It features a 44mm steel body, shortened lugs for maximum comfort, and a tri-compax layout on the trendy green dial. The alternating polished and brushed finishes on the exteriors give the watch a slimmer profile, while the fixed steel tachymeter bezel rounds out the sporty elegant look together. TAG Heuer Monaco Night Driver

As a true watch guy, Dwayne ensures he’s up to date with the hottest horological releases. During a College GameDay bout in September 2023, the action star was seen with the TAG Heuer Monaco Night Driver – one of the collection’s newest iterations. 

This watch comes with a DLC-coated titanium grade 5 body measuring 39mm wide – a departure from Dwayne’s usual larger timepieces. A stealthy but stylish take on the vintage classic, it also features an anthracite dial that transforms into vivid blue at night. The light gray counters and grainy outer dial add contrast to the brooding exteriors, while the leather strap adds a sophisticated touch. Only 600 of these watches were produced. TAG Heuer Monaco Calibre 02

In 2022, The Rock made multiple red-carpet appearances as part of the promotion for his superhero film, Black Adam. We saw the Hollywood A-Lister at the movie’s London screening wearing an industry icon – the TAG Heuer Monaco. 

Dwayne has the ref CBL21111 from 2019, released to celebrate the collection’s 50th anniversary. It retains the signature elements of the original Monaco but with a thicker steel profile and recessed tri-compax counters on the blue dial. TAG Heuer Aquaracer

Dwayne may still be waiting for his first Oscar nomination, but that didn’t stop him from shining brightly at the Oscars 2023. The actor donned a pink shawl collar dinner jacket and a TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Date – an unusual choice for such a striking look.

The Rock has the ref WBP2110, which is crafted in steel and measures 40mm in diameter. Its smokey black face has horizontal grooves across the dial and lume-filled trapezoidal markers instead of hexagonal ones. Powered by a Sellita-based Caliber 5 that offers 38 hours of autonomy, the Aquaracer ref WBP2110 makes for the ideal stylish tool watch.
