With Ed Sheeran’s youthful looks, mainstream music, and casual style, one would be surprised to find out that he has exceptional taste in mechanical watches.

Rolex GMT Master II Blue Red Pepsi Bezel Steel Mens Watch 16710

Rolex GMT-Master II Pepsi ref 16710

While he could easily get himself the highly-coveted current editions of the Rolex Pepsi with Cerachrom bezels or meteorite dials, Ed opted for the vintage version of the Pepsi. Specifically, he wears the ref 16710 which has an aluminum bezel insert. It was replaced by ceramic bezels due to its likelihood of fading, but it gives the watch a charmingly old school look that Ed loves. Photo from GQ Magazine

Rolex Yachtmaster 40 Everose Gold

The Rolex Yachtmaster 40 in Everose Gold was the first Rolex spotted on Ed. The stylish timepiece combines modern design with updated Rolex features: an 18k Everose gold construction, matte black Cerachrom ceramic insert bezel, and a matte black dial with luminous hour markers and sweeping hands in rose gold.

It’s also the first Rolex to be equipped with the Oysterflex strap. Not just any rubber strap, the Oysterflex has a titanium-nickel metal alloy blade at its center, for optimum durability.
