Do you have a retail store or are you just an Online retailer?

Quite simply we are both. We began as a local brick and mortar in the upscale Buckhead district of Atlanta. Our success locally over 30 years allowed us to be fortunate enough to branch out nationally and globally to become one of the recognized leaders worldwide in pre-owned luxury watches. How can you offer such low prices on luxury watches?

SwissWatchExpo is not an "Authorized Dealer" of the high-end luxury brands that we sell. Authorized dealers cannot sell online or below retail. We can do both. We choose to pass that savings on to you.

What is an "Authorized Dealer" or "Official Dealer"?

An Authorized or Official Dealer is simply a dealer who has agreed to work with a limited number of manufacturers in exchange for steeply discounted pricing on merchandise. However, the manufacturers place strict guidelines on merchandise pricing for Authorized Dealers, which restricts the dealers from discounting merchandise. As such, these dealers operate at very high margins and do not pass savings on to their customers. In addition, it is strictly forbidden for many top tier Swiss manufacturers such as Rolex and Cartier to sell any of their products retail online.

How secure is your site?

Individuals nationally and abroad describe and send pictures of their watches, get a range for purchase, and send their watches for trade or cash on a daily basis. If the item appears on your website with a price, does that mean it’s in stock?

Yes. Unlike most online retailers we have a physical show-room in Atlanta, and all of our inventory online is in the show-room. Every watch listed online is in stock and ready to ship the same day.

What types of payments do you accept?

SwissWatchExpo accepts all major credit cards. We accept PayPal as well as Bank Wire Transfer. Wire Transfer is a very popular option as we provide a discount for this method of payment. We also offer financing through Affirm.

Do the photographs on your site show the actual product that I’ll receive?

Yes. Each watch is carefully photographed at our headquarters so that our customers can inspect every detail and feature up close before they buy. When you place your order, you can rest easy knowing that the unique piece you just admired in the photographs is the exact same one that you’ll be receiving. The watch you see is the one you will receive.

Do the watches you sell come with their serial numbers?

Absolutely every watch we sell has its original serial number. We do not accept watches without serial numbers, and we do not remove serial numbers for any reason. In fact, we discourage this practice as does every reputable high-end watch dealer. We sell only the finest products in excellent condition. We do not sell or purchase any watches without serial numbers and would suggest that if a company offers watches without serial numbers you should walk away from that company and never look back.

If I purchase a watch from SwissWatchExpo, will it come with a box and documentation?

Many of our watches include the original manufacturer's box and all documentation. If the original box is not available, we will provide you with a quality replacement box. If there is no manufactures’ paperwork, SwissWatchExpo will provide a complimentary appraisal listing all verified documentation free of charge upon request. This appraisal can also be used for insurance purposes.

Do your products come with a warranty?

SwissWatchExpo is honored to have the opportunity to serve you. That is why we stand by all of our products with a full 18-month limited warranty. If an item we sell you should fail as a result of a manufacturer's defect at any time during the first 18 months, we will repair or replace the item at absolutely no cost to you. Do I get the manufacturer's warranty?

Because SwissWatchExpo is not an authorized dealer for many of the products that we sell, the manufacturer may not honor their original warranty. Tell us about your watch by completing the form. It takes less than 5 minutes. Not sure if you want to sell? That’s OK. Interested in trading for another item in our inventory? That’s fine, too. Either way, the first step is to find out what your watch is worth. Just complete the form and we will send you a quote. It’s easy and it’s free!

2. We send a quote:
Our in-house appraisers will evaluate the information you provide us and prepare an initial quote, which we will send to you by email. The initial quote is usually a range: the minimum and maximum we will pay for your watch, contingent upon our actual inspection.

3. We inspect your watch:.
If you decide to proceed, the next step is for us to inspect your watch. If you live in the Atlanta area, bring your watch by our beautiful showroom at 315 East Paces Paces Ferry Rd NE. No appointment is necessary. If you are farther away, we will send you (by email or regular mail) a pre-paid label to use to ship your watch to us. We will cover the cost of shipping and insurance. Of course, when you send your watch, include everything you have -- the original box, original papers, etc. -- plus a note with your name, address, telephone number and email address

4. We reach an agreement:
After we have inspected your watch, we will telephone with a final quote. The final quote will be within the range of our initial quote, unless your watch does not match the description you originally gave us.

5. We pay you within 24 hours:
If you accept our offer, we will pay you within 24 hours by sending an eCheck delivered to your email right away or by sending an overnight check. If you want to trade, you can apply the entire price toward any item in our inventory.

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

What is your return policy?

SwissWatchExpo knows that you will love your luxury watch purchase from us, but if for any reason you are not content with your selection, you can exchange it for another item or return it for a refund.

No Hassle Returns

The customer has a 10 calendar day inspection period to qualify for a return or refund. Starting time for the inspection period will be determined by the signature on the carrier records upon package delivery.

In order to return an item you need to first obtain an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number. To request an RMA number, please call 404.814-1814. Issuance of an RMA number does not guarantee final disposition and all returns are subject to inspection.

All return packages must have Return Merchandise Authorization number prominently displayed on box. The RMA number must be clearly written on the shipping label as the reference number to prevent refusal.

We suggest that you send your item(s) via insured, traceable means, such as UPS, FedEx, or USPS. Return shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. We are not responsible for lost or damaged packages. We will have zero liability for any items while in transit or in the possession of any common carrier, courier service, customs authority or other postal or delivery service. You must not send any items unless you have insured the items for or against loss for a full replacement value.

Retain your tracking number and e-mail it to us so that we can check on the progress of your return. If the tracking number is not traceable on shipping company website within 10 days of receiving item, it will be considered "not a valid return" and will result in refusal of the returned merchandise.

All returned or exchanged items must be in their original as sold condition. Item has to be inclusive of all packaging, documents, instruments, links, straps, buckles, tags, protective stickers, boxes and warranties as shipped by SwissWatchExpo. Items must be returned without blemishes, dings, scratches or any indication that the watch has been worn or sized in any manner. Once an item has been used or worn it is no longer returnable. Any signs of wear or removal of original parts will result in denial of return or partial refund.

Refunds

All watches are authentic, however should you ever doubt the authenticity of your watch and wish to return it during initial return period, a certified letter signed and verified by either an authorized dealer or authorized manufacturer service center will be required as proof deeming the watch as not being original authentic manufacturer equipment and only then will a complete refund be issued by SWE (exclusions/exceptions apply to stated/noted aftermarket parts such as diamond bezels, dials, and straps/buckles which are not eligible for this return exception).

All credit card purchases (website and phone orders) are subject to a 3% restocking fee, items purchased using cash, Paypal, or bank wire/transfer are excluded.

If you decide to return an item that was part of our free shipping promotion, our initial shipping costs will be deducted from the refund. All returns are less shipping costs (50.00 for domestic shipping) and applicable International shipping charge.

All purchases processed as charges and verified will not be eligible to be voided or cancelled and as such will be treated as a refund only.

Restocking fees may be waived for store exchanges with approval.

How do I apply for financing with Affirm?

SwissWatchExpo offers a full range of services, from basic maintenance to major repairs and restorations. Repair estimates are always provided free of charge. It is increasingly hard to find a reliable, qualified watchmaker. There are only about 6,000 trained timepiece technicians left in the U.S. SwissWatchExpo stands ready, as it has for many years, to provide loving care to your treasured timepiece. When you choose SwissWatchExpo, you can be sure that a trained master watchmaker will handle your watch from start to finish.

All Repairs Performed In-House

Our service division is the foundation of our company. Every pre-owned watch that we offer for sale must first be inspected and sometimes restored by our trained watchmakers. So our entire business depends on having an elite staff of proficient horologists. That same team is available to service your watch, when it needs maintenance or repair.

All watch repairs are performed in-house by our own technicians. We are one of the very few stores in the Atlanta area that performs in-house watch repair of luxury timepieces. We have invested thousands of dollars in our state-of-the-art service center. We employ only professionally trained watchmakers. Our team has more than 30 years of combined watch repair experience. We repair all Swiss luxury brands, and Rolex is our specialty.

Luxury watches are our only business, so we stay on the cutting edge of the industry. We have the most modern horological equipment, all the up-to-the-minute product knowledge, and a comprehensive inventory of manufacturer's original replacement parts. SwissWatchExpo is proud of our stringent 9-point repair checklist: Our watch maintenance and repair services are unbeatable. We've put together a flawless process that begins the moment we receive your watch, so you can rest assured your watch will be properly protected and handled the entire time it is with us.

  • When your timepiece arrives at our facility, we will immediately inspect your watch, recording the case number, serial number, dial color, bracelet style, number of links, distinguishing characteristics and the watch’s condition.
  • A trained technician opens the watch to inspect its condition and prepare a repair estimate. This is done free of charge. If you choose to not proceed with the repair, we will send it back at no cost to you except for shipping.
  • Once you approve the repair, we will get started. Most watches are repaired within 14 working days. Vintage watches and watches with serious damage may take longer.
  • Our first step is to completely disassemble the watch. We identify worn-out parts and replace them. We give your watch a thorough cleaning. The movement is reassembled and lubricated, using five different viscosity oils and lubricants. The case and bracelet are refinished to like-new condition.
  • Then we regulate your watch using our state-of-the-art timing machine.
  • Finally, we replace all gaskets to ensure the seal is as good as new.
  • After we return your newly restored movement into its newly refinished case, your watch is checked for water resistance.
