The Datograph is one of the world’s most iconic chronographs. Launched in 1999, it is widely recognized for its excellent movement architecture, fine finishing, and unconventional dial and case design. The name “Datograph” refers to its outsize date display reminiscent of the Dresden Semperoper's five-minute clock as well as a chronograph function.
Datograph watches come in either platinum or 18-carat gold with dials in black, blue, gray, or silver, a tachymeter scale around the outer rim, and a flyback mechanism. In 2012, it was updated to include a larger 41mm case and an UP/DOWN display – the Saxon brand’s own version of a power reserve indicator. Explore our collection of A.
